Patrick did a great job of cutting and styling my long hair. He added some long layers which was exactly what I wanted. It was easy to make a last minute appointment, and the price was reasonable. I will definitely come back.

I only review salons if I like the outcome of my hair and since I'm growing it out, I mainly needy bangs cut. I typically cut my bangs at home and I'm not terrible at it but this time I cut my side pieces too thick and decided I needed a professional to fix it, so I booked time with Aaron. I was in and out in about 15 minutes and my bangs/side pieces were looking great!! Would highly recommend coming here for a bang trim, it's definitely worth the $20 that I paid to not have to worry about how jank my side pieces looked. Will definitely come back and very 2-3 months for a trim!

I'd never dyed my hair before and I have very thick Filipino hair and they did a great job at making the color vibrant and cool! Would definitely return for a touch up!

I've been considering a haircut for that past few months since I have been cutting my own hair the last couple of years (I cut about once a year) and was now sporting a very long, straight, one length/blunt cut. I'm pretty indecisive about my hair because it grows back quickly (nothing is a permanent look), I typically wear it in a pony tail so styling gets lost, and I don't care all that much. When I actually venture into a salon, I love leaning on the hairstylist to make recommendations and am literally open to most anything: bangs, perm, short, etc. I feel like I'm a fun "experiment" on the very infrequent visit I make to a hair salon. So with all that context, on a rare free Friday afternoon, I go to YELP and type salon. This spot was the second on the list. The first had high reviews but all written by yelpers with only 3-5 reviews, so it felt sketchy. This salon, however, had many high reviews from more devoted yelpers so I decided to give this one a call. No answer. Since they were 6 blocks away, I decided to just show up. I parked right in front (all one hour parking) and just my luck, there was someone able to see me right away. And LUCK is the correct word because I got Patrick. He started with washing my hair. He ensured the temperature of the water was comfortable and I enjoyed a nice scrub, massage and some pressure pointing. After, I settled into the barber chair. "Cut?" Patrick asked. "Yes," I smiled. "1 inch? 2 inch?" he asked. I definitely wanted something more drastic, noticeable and something I couldn't do at home, but since we had a language barrier, he handed me a strand to demonstrate how much I was willing to cut off. I motioned to about 5-6 inches off. He looked surprised, then asked if I wanted layers. I told him whatever he thinks will look good and that I trusted him. He smiled, nodded and said ok, layers. The next 25-30 minutes we chatted as he effortlessly moved around me without hesitation. He was a professional and made me feel confident, relaxed and simply happy. I knew I was going to like the end result because he was so cheerful, dedicated and detailed. He took the time to dry my hair, curl it slightly, and make finishing touches. He grabbed a mirror with a broad smile and showed me the back. To be honest, I couldn't see it well but I didn't care at all because the front looked so much better than I would have ever imagined! I look completely different with shoulder length perfectly layered face framing hair. I think this is probably the best haircut I've ever had in regards to convenience, professionalism, experience, and in the end to my complete surprise... PRICE. $55 for a wash, massage, cut, blow dry AND pleasant conversation (though we had our barriers) is enough for me to bookmark this spot and return again and again AND AGAIN! I just really hope Patrick will be around in the next year or two when I return! I cannot praise this place enough and highly recommend this affordabgem. Thank you!
